dribbble

a snippet of my Dribbble page
The tagline for Dribbble is, 'Show and tell for designers in 120,000 pixels or less,' which pretty much sums it up. If you're unfamiliar with Dribbble, it's a social networking platform for artists/designers, but what makes it stand out is that it's geared for constructive feedback on in-progress and finished pieces. Unlike forums such as Flickr, where you might not feel comfortable giving or receiving a bit of help, Dribbble is designed as a place to do just that.

I'll admit; at first I was completed uninterested. Someone offered to draft me, and I turned them down. However, over the weeks that followed, I saw many of my favorite illustrators/designers Dribbbling up a storm and I began to understand the benefits. Luckily, the ever talented Bobby McKenna drafted me (it's currently invite only) and I've been enjoying it ever since. Not only do I get great feedback, but I get glimpses of what other people are up to and what their process is like. So, if you're ever wondering what I'm working on or how I work, head on over to Dribbble and see what's going on.

This is the kind of sunshine-y work that I can't stop looking at. Huzzah!

You don't happen to have an extra Dribbble invite floating around, by any chance?

Please have a gander @ my work.
